Everyone here is so great! My adult son is in a wheelchair, so we love the accessibility for him. Very blessed to have somewhere we can go that fits our needs so well. Highly recommend!

Putting an exact number on the cost of a tooth extraction is difficult. Several factors affect the price, and it simply depends on the patient’s unique oral situation. However, the average cost for tooth extractions in the US is around $150 to $400.
If you’re thinking that’s a wide range, we agree! Once we see you or your loved one’s teeth up close, we can provide a more precise quote and discuss financial options. Until then, feel free to explore our website for more information about dental insurance and flexible financing, and don’t hesitate to call our office if you have any questions!
Absolutely! We have two options for patients who have dental anxiety, have a disability that makes it difficult to sit still during visits, or find appointments uncomfortable. The first is oral conscious sedation. Of the different types of dental sedation we offer, oral conscious is the least invasive, but still provides a deep sense of relaxation. Your loved one will simply take a prescribed pill before arriving to our office. Once the sedation takes effect, they might become so drowsy that they nod off during their treatment!
The second option is general anesthesia. This way, both inhaled and IV sedation are used to gently make a patient unconscious. Rest assured that we have a highly trained in-house anesthesia team that will administer and monitor your loved one throughout their treatment. Dr. Ford himself has unique qualifications as a dental anesthesiologist. So if your loved one requires something stronger than oral conscious sedation, we can safely and effectively accommodate their needs!
We love our digital X-rays, and so do our Denton County patients! The process is as simple as it sounds. Instead of taking X-rays with a giant machine that requires patients to wear a lead vest, we can use modern digital technology. This method uses 80% less radiation than traditional X-rays, and thanks to chairside monitors, you and your loved one can see exactly what we see. It’s a great, much less intimidating way for us to examine patients’ mouths and explain their oral situation.
We encourage our patients to schedule regular checkups and cleanings with us every six months, and to request emergency or additional appointments as needed. The usual follow-up question to this is “why every six months?”
One reason is that dental insurance typically covers 100% of the cost of two preventative care appointments per year – that means checkups and cleanings. We’d like for our patients to be able to take full advantage of their dental insurance benefits!
Another, more important reason is that regular checkups and cleanings are known to reduce the risk of developing serious oral conditions. By checking on your oral health every six months, we have the opportunity to catch issues like cavities and gum disease in the early stages, when they’re more easily treatable. Cleanings, meanwhile, allow us to remove harmful plaque and tartar from your teeth, preventing build up and restoring the pearly shine to your smile.
