As a child, Dr. Solomon always enjoyed math and science. Plus, he had notable artistic talent as well as a calling to serve others, so dentistry seemed like a good fit that encompassed all of his passions into one fulfilling career. Looking back decades later, he couldn’t be happier with the path he has chosen!
After graduating from Baylor University, Dr. Solomon earned his dental degree from the Baylor College of Dentistry in 1987. He began practicing in Carrollton and served as a clinical instructor at Baylor for 10 years. He also formed a study club with his fellow graduates, the Metrodent Study Club, and served as the vice president and president for several years.
In 1996, he obtained a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, which required him to complete over 600 hours of continuing education as well as pass a rigorous, all-day exam. Today, he is still dedicated to delivering the best dental care possible, so he regularly seeks out advanced training that covers many different dental disciplines.
Dr. Solomon and his wife, Carrie, married in 1994 and have 2 sons, Mitchell and Cole. His favorite hobbies include watching baseball (he currently plays in two men’s 55+ leagues), going bow hunting with Carrie, cruising with friends, snow skiing, and visiting the family ranch in Cisco.
